Last week the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) concluded neonicotinoid pesticides posed a risk to bee populations, but chemicals are not the only factor taken into account when determining the factors that impact bee health.

In the following video, the EFSA explains the MUST-B framework used by various stakeholders in the European Union to develop predictive models about how pesticides, infectious agents, predators, landscape and the weather combine to affect honeybees.
