Another monday, we backed our fast-pace mode. In the morning, we went to Hortgro. After a short meeting, Jacques, trade/sales manager as well as Marletta from FPEF took us visiting Durtoit , a packing warehouse.
Dutoit is a largest apple exporter in South Africa. The company has a 125 years history, it has 400 hectare farmland and 60% of it is for apple cultivation. The company has a professional and efficient management team including 30 senior managers, 124 general managers and 8000 employees. Although some of our team members had visited many entrepreneurs around word, they were still impressed by Hortgro’s advanced equipment. , the host also provided us Chinese traditional food for the lunch.
In the afternoon, we visited another packing warehouse-Bella Frutta and its orchard. It was also a professional, efficient company.
The clients meeting at night was still frank and friendly, just like before.
A member of us was sick, we hoped her would recover soon.
