Employees of a fruit import company in Pingxiang, South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, unload imported pitaya at the Pingxiang border inspection zone. 

Companies in the zone import about 5,000 tons of fruit from Vietnam every day, and the total fruit import volume in the zone surpassed 1.2 million tons in 2017 alone, local government officials told the Global Times
